HMD Kenya has brought the Nokia C30 to the Kenya market.

The device is part of the C lineup, which is essentially the brand’s budget segment. It features other phones such as the C10 and the C20 – both of which we have looked at.

The C30 costs KES 14490, which is slightly more than the said siblings.

Unlike the C20, the C30 has dual snappers following the addition of a depth sensor.

The cell is huge at 6000 mAh. the screen is also big at 6.8″, effectively making the phone a brick in the pocket at a weighty 237g.

That should not worry you, though, if you love battery longevity.

The rest of the specs are here:

To note, the price is close to what Nokia is asking for the G10, which we have also reviewed. It is a better phone on the whole, with a compact size, improved cameras, and a polished software experience as it ditches the lite (Android 11 Go Edition) found in the C lineup.

Gopher Ogembo, Senior Business Manager Kenya & East Africa HMD Global says:

Somewhat of a “flagship” in our C-series, the Nokia C30 is a shining example of what this range stands for – bringing the best possible quality to an introductory price point. It’s the ultimate device for Kenyans who are ready to transition into the world of smart technology – from a brand you know and trust. More than half of smartphone users say that daily battery life is the most important battery feature for their needs. The Nokia C30 is an answer to what people have been asking for – more time between charges, more screen, our signature security and durability, and the same accessible price point.
